6명이 죽고 Giffords 의원을 중태에 빠트린 용의자 (suspected in the Tuson,Arizona,shootings that left 6 people dead and U.S. Rep.Gabrielle Giffords critically wounded) Jared Lee의 부모들은 왜 그런 사건이 발생한지를 모르겠고( They do not know why the incident occurred) 희생자에 대해 굉장한 유감이라고 말하였다.
그 짧은 성명서는 의사들이 Giffords 의원이 자기힘으로 호흡한다는 말이있자(doctors said Giffords is breathing on her own) 나왔다.
범인은 배낭을 지고 쇼핑센터로 갔으며 반자동 권총,4개의 탄창,칼을 가지고 있었다.(He had a semi-automatic handgun,four ammunition magazines and a knife)
범인은 지인들이 묘사하는 것으로 아마도 정신적으로 착란상태라고 간주되어진다
(He has been perhaps mentally unbalanced because of the way he has been described by acquaintance)
Giffords 의원은 중태이며( Giffords remained in critical condition)
그녀의 사무실은 우주비행사인 남편의 사진 2장을 공개했다.( Her office released 2 photos of husband Mark Kelly, an astronaut)
호흡튜브를 유지하는 이유는 기도를 보호해 폐렴과 같은 합병증이 없게 하기위해서다.
(to protect her airway so that she doesn't have complications like pneumonia)
희생자들 중 76세의 Dorwan Stoddard 씨는 다리에 상처입은 그의 부인을 몸으로 막은 분이다.( Among those killed was Dorwan Stoddard,76. He tried to shield his wife, Mavi, who was wounded in the leg)
대통령부부가 수요일 추도식에 참여할 것이다(President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama will attend a Wednesay memorial)
